RE: <I think it will go up tomorrow...I think today is as much about the Naz/MOT going down as it is about AMD profit taking. I know very little about options...to make money on your April 75's, we have to close above 75?>

I am just learning about options as well. If we get to 76 I think I will be about even on the options. I bought 50 contracts yesterday when the stock was at about 75.5 to 76 on the hopes that it was a temporary pullback from the high of 79 and would continue to go up until earnings. I was hoping to get a quick gain and then roll the profits over into 10 or 20 May 75's for a relatively risk free (since I would have only been risking the April 50's profit) position increase. But as you know the stock kept going down instead of up as I had hoped. I can't complain. That was the risk that I took. But I would be very interested to hear any of the more experienced options traders advice on whether my strategy was majorly flawed somehow. Did I do something wrong due to my inexperience or was I just wrong about the direction of the stock?
