What a lot of people are missing is that "investors" aren't supposed to make 100%+/year on their portfolios.

The Nasdaq, an index for crying out loud, doubled in 6 months, with many people making 400-500% on many stocks.

Even if those returns are cut in half we get a substantial return; cut that in half and we get back to normality.

Going back to a normal rate of return (which was already historically unprecedented from 1995-1999) on the Nasdaq would constitute giving back at least 75% of the gains.

Which takes me to my Nasdaq 3,000 prediction.
