JW's not perfect He's just one of the most intelligent people on this thread. I learn a lot from him. I doubt seriously people only read him when Tom is not around. Jeezzz, John

Nichols...don't know how long you've been on the porch, but its obvious that you don't appreciate JW's level of humor. Some, as in Poet's case find it downright offensive. Most of us have grown to be porch setters because of people like Jim. He does help make it what it is. Yes, once in a while, his comments offend, but I'd damn sure rather know where someone was coming from, with his comments (like JW) as opposed to a lot of folk who are overly concerned with saying one thing and meaning another. JMO.

What is it with you and Poet? I don't post much but I do read every post. I just can't keep quiet on this one. The information I have read from Jim has been very informative. He seems to care, and put a lot of work into most of his posts. Not only is he enlightening with his TA, but he knows how to have fun. Give the guy a break. You two really should get out more. This is a real world we live in and unfortunately, it isn't always rosey, perfect, and without opinions from someone like JW that just tells it like it is without sugar coating the truth. I don't agree with every thing he says, but he does have the right to voice his opinion. Poet was really picking a fight to criticize his post. Sorry, I say we keep him, and please get off of his last nerve! Love you all! Lucky

Well Nichols, I can tell you that my retirement to the porch this week is in part due to Jim Willie & Voltaire. You may scoff all you like, but I would still be working without the extra growth my portfolio accrued thanks to their consistently good calls. IMVHO, Jim Willie's TA, econ, QCOM & market analysis are top shelf. This plus Voltaire's angels & psychology as well as his options strategies are tools I incorporate into my DD & investment strategies. I repeat, thanks to the selfless & generous contributions by Jim & Tom, I was able to retire sooner had I not incorporated their thoughts & opinions into my strategies. That is testament of their value to this investor. Oh & no Nichols, they aren't perfect. No one is. It's the consistency or lack thereof, that is what determines how successful a person is IMO. Just keep in mind that even folks with great track records will also make some calls that go south. Again, I can attest to the value of Jim & Volt's consistency. FWIW, if you bet the farm based solely on any thread poster, you have no one to blame but yourself. Once you take another posters stock picks or market calls & put yer money down, they are now your own picks. ........... Or are you here to make up for molly's absence? w2

Nichols! I tried to treat you as I do everyone else. You are not a regular poster and must not be a regular reader or you would know that voltaire enjoys JW's post as most people do. You are a very rude man that for some reason is dishing out sour grapes.....
