Well, that is, of course, conflict, but at least it is not Northern Ireland. My wife's paternal grandfather was a district supervisor for the American Sunday School Union. He was born a Quaker, became a Presbyterian, let his son (my father-in-law) sing in an Episcopalian choir. His numerous progeny went in various directions, such as Baptist and Disciples of Christ. They would argue doctrine, sometimes heatedly, at family get- togethers. And when their mother said to sit and eat, they did that too. No fight was irrevocable......
