Well, Mike and thread, we are getting to the

"How low can it go?"

Point. The lack of posts this week would seem to indicate that a lot of us are in a state of shock. I am about 16% under my portfolio investment as Feb 1st. Of course, I was up a good bit, 25% to 45% on the two portfolios, so it has been a long slide.

I have not sold anything, and don't intend to. This is the kind of market that kills the people on margin, or who have invested the rent money.

So, I have no intention of collecting employment applications from the local 7-11's. It is still "party time" at my penthouse!

For All:

Anyone thinking about sorting through a company's fundamentals quickly ought to have Mike Buckley's response (#22554) to tripperd2 close at hand.

Thank you Mike. That was one succinct walk-through (of) the JDSU question, but it can be so broadly applied that I feel everyone should be aware of it's usefulness. I don't know how Eric is going to log this one, but it should be prominently.
