You'd be surprised. That's big, I believe. There were some large blocks moved throughout the day.

You really think that the average investor has up to $50K to buy (based on 1500 shs)?

That's hooey.

Since the average trade was ~1,500 I would say that it was primary institutionals at work today.

By the way, I am considered an institutional fella. I rarely trade (shown) blocks of more than 10,000 shares (unless it is a negotiated transaction). I usually break my trades up into <5,000 share lumps so as to not move the price too much (still happens though with my small cap ideas). Patience helps. Do not read too much into the average trade size. That "idea" is overrated - and often misleading.

I continue to be amazed at the "knowledge" that most of today's "investors" think they have relating to market internals. Don't believe the hype. Technical measures are like driving utilizing your rear view mirror - eventually a person ends up in the hospital.

Do your homework (the fundemental kind), and all will be well.
