"turn his back" - that's a crock, Juan Miguel demanded his son back as soon as he found out to where he had been kidnapped ... Eli n lived with JM, who had legal custody ... the mother spent less time with him than JM in the period leading up to the boyfriend/leaky boat episode.

Of course i know from what you're twisting that, JM's wisdom in not personally placing himself in danger from those CANF twits, who don't tolerate dissent from their blindered views, and who have Eli n surrounded. Of course he's not going to do that ... he has no chance of recovering his son by force in the most vicious part of a foreign and hostile country ... of course he must go through channels, which he is doing. Quite competently.

"Mi hijo" ... a powerfully simple message.

>I don't consider Juan Miquel as the father.

Oh Robert, you sure haven't changed a bit!

If these asshole relatives were so nice they would have taken Elian to his daddy and his grandmothers right away instead of turning him into a political circus act!

What a "hero" and a loving father Juan Miguel is..... He waits four months to see his son after he almost dies, and even then, demands that the boy come to him! Big man. Great father. He is an embarrassment to the good fathers out there..... Yogi
