I'm not sure how long we should take this very off topic post, but I don't mind if no one else does. I'm not so sure that we would have had a democratic Vietnam if Truman had caused free elections to have been held in all of Vietnam after WWII. I don't think the communists would have allowed themselves to lose any elections once they one the first one. In any case that was all water under the bridge by the time we were seriously involved. BTW - Is there any way to change your id on this system? Tim
