Re: "Last quarter at earnings AMD couldn't get arrested; this quarter CNBC has announced 4 times today alone that earnings will be reported tomorrow. In this latest blurb from TV Eyes, its the AMD report that is considered the most significant, not ALTR nor RMBS. What a difference a quarter makes!

Comment: Thanks for the post...Not only most significant report, but potentially the most price explosive in AMD's history to date...(i.e. somebody mentioned that $13 was the largest previous 1 day move...that record is in jeopardy, imho)

Yes, I noticed the same thing also.

AMD has been trading at around 8 million shares daily at over $70! The money volume is about 10 times of what it used to be only couple of months back!!!

Good or bad, AMD's earnings will not go unnoticed.

Ted, TVeyes is so cool. I 've had it so long and don't recall who turned me on to it.

Ted,

Last quarter at earnings AMD couldn't get arrested; this quarter CNBC has announced 4 times today alone that earnings will be reported tomorrow.

I think the streets wants to hear a good news, and AMD is a good candidate to deliver it. That's why there is so much attention. Also, it makes for good story to report on a company whose shares have quadrupled in a year, than about a company whose shares have not moved.
