It looks to me like the NAS/NMS BIOTECH (NasdaqSC:^IXB) index was up 120% for year ending March 2000, which is another interesting benchmark. Not to mention VDXXX at 605%....

Rick, Any doubts that we've returned to the attitudes, if not the absolute valuations, of last fall? Witness MMP today; the equation: Outstanding interim PII results in HCV presented today (okay maybe priced in last week) + PIII data in malignant melanoma to be presented in a month at ASCO (and the company seeming to hint today that they know that they're good) + Co. says they WILL file an NDA this summer (by July, "a reasonable guess") = DOWN 2 3/4 (5%) ???? Looks like we're back to sell into the news. biowa
