<Now is the time to invest in property.>

Helios, do you remember what happened to property values after the 1987 crash? Property values are higher now in NYC than they were in 1987. We recently sold our house last November and got considerably more than what we paid for it in 1985.

<Gold is wonderful stuff and may yet may make a comeback if a major crises hit>

All it will take is a recession and a little bit of inflation with a declining dollar and a Federal Reserve in a radical easing mode to propel gold higher. The XAU is extremely interest rate sensitive.

I hope for your sake that Greenspan pulls off another miracle. If he doesn't, Gold is waiting on its death bed to come back to life again.

PS Check out FFIV. Great Internet Infrastructure Play IMO.

<until then gold is the buggy whip of economic instruments>

You have to remember that 10's on the Richter scale have happend elsewhere in the world. Gold has done well against lots of OTHER currencies. It's the dollars dominance that has Gold appear to be outmoded in this country.
