Ali,

Shooting a shower of bullets from an automatic gun in ecstasy? I do not recall this from any Olympics.

I am by no means a guns expert, but I think the guns they use in Olympic competitions (like biathlon) are semi-automatic.

Last time I was shooting from an automatic was long time ago, when I was about 15 - first time when I was about 10. They had these military preparedness classes in the communist countries, in order to prepare for war with the West. Even though it was such a long time ago, I remember it was a thrill, especially for a teenage boy.

I am not going to dictate people what to do for thrills, as long as they don't hurt themselves or someone else. You have a much greater chance of injury in football, hockey, mountain climbing, skiing etc.

What do you do for excitement? Recycle?

Joe
