Without debating what you are getting at, here is my take:
Options plays create some very interesting swings depending on how the positions are unwound.

However, I see certain things happen once in a while which I cannot explain without attributing some amount of foul play to the big boys. (An example of how this could happen: If one of the options makers on AMD is a bear and took some risk on the short side. It is safe to say that he will do whatever in his power to not incur losses as the stock moves up beyond his expectations)

On an entirely different topic - looks like Intel still is struggling with 820 stuff.
