I suspect it will be something like an attempted takeover (or takeovers) that will truly push these stocks beyond their current malaise of increasing only so long as the flare is burning status.

It is interesting that it has not happened yet with the current activity and takeovers currently occurring with other Canadian juniors and American suitors. I suppose one reason could be that if these American companies are out looking to broaden their production base geographically they are not really doing that by pursuing a California play.

Perhaps once one takeover attempt occurs on one of the JV partners we may see a few interested parties come out of the woodwork. $10 Elk might be cheap.

I find it difficult to believe these potential predators are waiting for proven results - they are no strangers to risk.
