Hi Anthony, I lucked out and saw the CNBC feature on you. Despite the fact I could fathom no coherent angle in their story, you came across quite well. No small feat when dealing with the news media !

Bear Stearns cuts Street.com holdings

WASHINGTON (CBS.MW) -- Bear Stearns Asset Management nearly liquidated its stake in TheStreet.com, reducing its ownership from nearly 1.6 million shares to only 53 shares, according to filings released by the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

New York-based investment adviser Bear Stearns owned a 6.3 percent stake in the online financial news provider during the first part of February, according to a Schedule 13G filing released Feb. 15.

Schedule 13G filings only contain ownership information; details regarding recent stock sales or purchases aren?t included.

Representatives at TheStreet.com (TSCM: news, chart) declined to comment on the Bear Stearns filing. TheStreet.com, based in New York, competes with CBS.MarketWatch.com, the publisher of this report.

Shares of TheStreet.com closed down « at 7 3/16.
