Unfortunately, QA (and myself) haven't been able to duplicate this problem, even based on the step-by-step you posted.

Unless anyone else on the thread can verify (and if you can, please post when and how this occurs), it may be unique to your system.

JOHN!!! That no color change of read messages is happening again.
Started this morning after I tried to access SI Mail and got that error message about my browser and cookies.

You asked that I let you know ASAP.

So key strokes are

1. click on SI Mail

2. Enter name and code

3. hit enter

4. get error message

5. hit back

6. click on subject marks

Walla, no color change of any message read.

EDIT: removing the history files again corrected the problem
