A lower entry price could also create demand -- by bringing in all the people who are wary of or unable to commit to a 100 minimum lot. Not sure what the min. lot in Tokyo is -- that would be the prime determinant perhaps. All other things being equal....moot point if they have last few weeks.

Split will tend to have a dilutional affect in the short run
IMHO. Witness what happened to JDSU & QCOM after their splits. Watching NOK for a similar reaction.
