And I think you may be underestimating Intel's influence.

I don't believe anyone represented Intel Capital as the most important part of Intel's valuation, it's a variable piece of the total valuation and not insignificant.

GS comments will have a short term effect on the stock price. The real long term fundamentals of the industry coupled with investor sentiment will determine the future market cap, which is more important to most of us than todays stock price. Intel Capital has much more important part in Intel's value than one analyst's comment on one day.
