Hi people,

I think you guys (and gals) here take for a pretty levelheaded person on this thread...

I am not a "raging Bull" but believe in SUN, since 1997 when I first invested...

Well, you "shorts" and "thread morons", listen UP!

I had a SUN Night last night, and FWIW, I got the following information.....

1- I am reasonably confident that SUN will exceed 26% sales growth, and will PROBABLY hit 30%.... I expect 30% , based on the sales guys shaking thei heads and saying to me "it's going to be a VERY GOOD quarter"

2- Some people told me that 4 Billion is NOT out of the question in Sales for the quarter !

3- The SUN employees I talked to said that if it had NOT been for the tech wreck, a SPLIT was assured... Now, they all seem to think that it is a pretty remote possibility

4- They finally told me that the backlog will "probably" have INCREASED from Last quarter, and that the new quarter was already starting very well..

I also got good information on JDSU, with employees buying as much og their stock as possible, anticipating over 60% + sales growth for the quarter just finishing...

Take care everyone
Jean

P.S. I am canadian, so please, don't anyone PM me about "insider info & trading". Not the same game here in canada... I am just passing observations on long discussions I had last night

We must remember that Michael Dell is a blowhard who has never developed any technology and just knows how to hammer together boxes and sell them. He has succeeded in fooling the public and wall street into thinking that he actually knows about what he is selling. I remember, when Apple was doing poorly, he was asked what they should do, and he said something like "They should disband the company." I guess Steve Jobs diasagreed....
