To me the orderly nature of this decline suggests that the selling is motivated by rational thought processes rather than by panic. Perhaps that's scarier? If it indeed signals a return to realistic valuations then CSCO, SUNW, etc. are going to be cut in half from current levels - they've doubled in the past 6 months with no real news. Still, I won't believe we've seen the end until the dot-coms get cut by factors ranging from 10-100 fold, which hasn't happened yet. FWIW the tech boys tell me the Nas should bottom in the 3200-3500 range.
