Sonny, today I had to make some quick thinking. I sold more
US dollar bonds (Argentina, Mexico, Brazil!) I had average
annual return of 12% on the yield, and about 15% on the face value of these bonds.

I use my long portfolio's as coladral to do day trading. I
have been thinking what happens if one day I wake up and see
that NAZ or NYSE have dropped 50%! In that case maybe the bonds and stocks in the long portfolio will not be sufficent to cover the margins. So, if one can't cover, then the broker will excercise his right to sell equities
to cover.

Therfore, I sold bonds this morning, and covered my all trading margins, and in addition bought more Dell, CSCO, ORCL and SUNW! I think stocks give me more than 12% return per year! ggg
I don't know if you follow or not, but this is one thing most brokerages and banks don't expalin to their clients, unitl it is too late!

As for the market dropping more, as Bill said in his post yesterday, it will turn arround, and with such venegence that we will forget these nasty days! ggg

It is still raining here, yet I played my 9 holes! No sense watching CNBC and getting depressed! ggg
