ICGE's Breakaway deal......Internet Capital Group (Nasdaq: ICGE), which was one of the early backers of
Breakaway Solutions, is also providing operational and capital support to
EMETRA. Just as Internet Capital Group and Breakaway Solutions have worked
together on a number of projects in the U.S., the firms are also working
together in Europe. This is another example of the collaborations facilitated
within Internet Capital Group's network of partner companies.

"There has been and will continue to be a great synergy between Breakaway
Solutions and Internet Capital Group," said Walter Buckley, CEO of Internet
Capital Group. "Many of the companies that Internet Capital Group partners with
are looking for help to develop their Internet strategy, build their Internet
solutions and host their Web site and applications. Breakaway Solutions' FSP
model offers these services for these growing enterprises."

Greg,

My buds just called, they will/are buying MSFT with a vengance under 80. They are heavies and rarely do the wrong thing, at least so far they haven't!
Perhaps this will be the exception that proves the rule, but just thought I'd tell you. No position, but definitely planning to buy into the bloodletting for my long term port.
They are hoping for a break up as they feel the parts are greater than the sum, much like AT&T was. Either way they feel, this is a bargain...
