bp, I suspect that the larger than expected rout in NTAP (vs. other techs) is the result of prior speculative buying on margin (and the resulting margin calls). There has been an inordinate amount of selling (compared to the naz in general) caused by this. I expect that the snap-back rally, when it comes, will provide significantly higher upside for NTAP relative to most other tech issues.

betty, NTAP manages its earnings much like CSCO. To see a 3 cent up side would be very, very uncharacteristic of NTAP. A 2 cent up side would be reasonable under the circumstances (good quarter, bad market).

I would be shocked and dismayed if there were negative news out there about NTAP that we have not heard.

NTAP's price is suffering from high valuation and a down market. It's that simple, imo.
