Bought some MSFT here at 66 1/16. . .

Remember when I said how far tech stocks would sell off. . . and that we should watch for the ridiculous haircuts as a cue?

Here is what I wrote:
For example. . . . I'm looking for VRSN to hit 80 [nearly 70% from high]. . . .AMAT to break 60. . .CSCO to hit the low 40's. . .RMBS back under 100 . . . a drop of 75%. . .CIEN to 60. . . INKT to 65. . .QCOM to 65. . .AMCC under 50. . . VIGN under 50. . .TERN back mid-40's. . .INSP back below 30. . .PMCS back to mid 60's. . .JNPR to touch 100. . . CMRC back under 60. . .same with AKAM. . .and CMGI. . .BVSN to 19. . . MMPT to 12. . .CORL under 5. . .JDSU and A to 60. . .ARBA under 40. .

I took LOTS of flack for such "ridiculous" predictions. That's OK. I'm used to it. But we are already beginning to get pretty close on some of those prices. And we've already seen some ridiculous prices on other stocks. I think MSFT is nearing that level.

NOTE: Shortly after making that above referenced post, I realized I had made a typo on QCOM. . .I don't think QCOM will go much below $75. . . also, I am looking for CSCO more in the higher 40's than lower.

Another note. . . .remember we average [dollar cost averaging] in and out. . .so buying starts well before our target entry. . .and our selling starts well before/after our target exit. . .
