PS- I think it's time for everyone to lay off the OT, we are only a few hours from earnings.

chic,

Why? Do you think earnings will become diluted by all the OT? <g>

Re: "Re: My guess is the latter and volumes will pick up in the PM"

Comment: This morning AMD seems pegged to Nasdaq...Shaking out the remaining nervous shares each time Nasdaq weakens...Time is running out with this trading strategy if there are large AMD buyers hoping to get filled before today's close, which is my guess...AMD will disengage from any weak Nasdaq before the day is out...with or without Nasdaq strengthening,I'm looking for an AMD volume surge and a runup in price this PM...Any turnaround in Nasdaq will just make the runup that much more pronounced! The consolidaton in this range has just about run its course with the 50 million shares traded in the past 5 trading sessions...A minimum upward price revaluation of 30% has been the pattern at the end of previous AMD consolidations...I'm thinking the revaluation will have occurred come Friday's close!
