The only thing that amazes me is the fact that anyone is surprised. I thought it was common knowledge that the whole project was a taxpayer-funded boondoggle, replete with overruns, kickbacks, patronage and corruption.

I just took a few moments to read a couple of articles. Ick! I had been hearing some rumors, but this is nastier than I'd heard.
