That's not necessarily true. If the stock is below it's offering price who would sell? True the shares come available to sell, that doesn't mean they will actually be sold.

BSIM - true, Kevin, remember many of those shares are bought below what you and I play via options. With the flood of IPOs, only increases the number of shares for sell via the lockups.

No doubt, this trend is playing into what we see occuring in this market selloff! With many of the non-profitable inet plays, who will want those shares, once they hit the bottom could stay there for a long time. A bargain is not always a bargain. Do your D&D and choose wisely!
