<I know Rick Sherlund...I met him years ago when Msft first went public.>

Did I ever tell you that when Billy lived a block from my folks from 1980 to 1991, they never laid eyes on him ONCE? No wonder msft has been an investor's dream all these years!

James,

Why be concerned about Mr. Softie? Obviously it is dead money for a while since litigation tends to take aeons to be resolved. The hot money is exiting and the brokers want to make some commissions. I think MSFT may be one of the best value in tech space today. You should be thinking about adding to your position, rather than liquidating, if you believe, as I do, that break-up value exceeds market price, and you are a longterm player. You need to ask yourself whether you are a weak hand or a strong hand.
