Heck, I had no idea the panic would start so quickly. Oh well, I guess the stock market was at twitchy heights and it didn't take much to stampede people. They've been looking for an excuse since last June when they were supposed to rush to the exits - [in my scheme anyway but somehow they didn't do what I thought - funny that...]

I suppose this crunch might serve as a slight warning to any judges or politicians who are awake what will happen if property rights are further damaged. Some of those politicians might even be a bit dependent on the USA economy. Then again, they'll just think it's due to Alan Green$pan tightening up on money a bit.

Now we will be seeing who has had a sensible position and realistic valuations and understanding of their investments. Those who got it wrong will hand their property to those were right.

I say Dow down to 9300. Haven't worked out a Nasdaq figure.

Then, onwards to 16,000 Dow by Feb 2002 [because Microsoft won't be punished with more than a wet bus ticket slap on the wrist and the Supreme Court will NOT destroy the USA].

So, let's enjoy the fun of the roller coaster. I went on the Knott's Berry Farm wooden one and was a little jittery on getting off. This should be as good.
