biowa,

Maybe the bears are particularly mad at biotech because nobody is sequencing the bear genome. <g>

Obviously it's hard to disentangle the biotech slide from the Nasdaq/dot.com weakness. However, looking at just the biotech news there has been reason for weakness. BGEN mediocre earnings, AMGN dispute with TKTX, punctured hype by CRA, VPHM crash (ouch - I still held a few). Things are looking up today, though: Nice earnings from Genenetech, and a positive review of the SEPR/LLY Prozac deal. (And maybe the tech stocks will get helped by AMD).

I'm looking to buy back some of the MLNM I sold at higher prices, and selectively nibbling on a few other issues (like VPHM).
