I seriously think that if we breach 3600, we could be in for the Big Kahuna. At that point the truth will be known, whether there really is a Plunge Protection Team, whether the houses are playing games, and how serious AG is about slowing down the economy at the risk of a recession. If that level is seriously breached, I think the average investor is going home and not buying for a good long time. And that means Naz, Dow, Amex, anything. And with AG continuing to raise rates, the previous rates will just be starting to take hold when the new ones are put into place. It will be a very hard landing, and will put 2000 down the tubes just in time for the election. At least there is that bright side :-)
