ATG, in a real bear market there are no safe buying opportunities for up to three years after it is under way in earnest. For Japan it's been three times that. When this thing is over, there won't be much of a market for a long time. I say this in sorrow, not in eagerness, because I have enjoyed following the market for thirty years. It's like seeing Caesar's Palace torn down (I've never been there and in fact have never gambled on anything more than what we call "high stakes" poker in my circle (i.e., one can lose as much as $50 by being really reckless).
