COMPANY SIGNS EXCLUSIVE DEAL WITH IBM TO DISTRIBUTE ITS LEADING EDUCATIONAL SOFTWARE TITLES THROUGHOUT EUROPE
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 18, 2000-- Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ:TTWO - news) announced today that it has signed an exclusive agreement with IBM (NYSE:IBM - news) to distribute their award-winning range of Crayola software titles, World Book multimedia encyclopaedia and the Edmark brand of educational software in Europe for a period of two years.

The IBM Brings You Crayola lines of multimedia software titles are designed to help children ages 5-12 learn while they create. These engaging creativity software programs are tools to enrich the learning process, helping students gain confidence in the creative self-expression and computer literacy skills.

From the publication of the first eight-volume set in 1917, accuracy has been the guiding principle of World Books editorial policy. Now 22 volumes, World Book prides itself on the `user-friendly' nature of its publications as well as its ability to make authoritative and current information meaningful and relevant. World Book is written in UK English and is UK National Curriculum approved. Furthermore, teachers in UK schools have endorsed it as the best educational multimedia software reference tool available.

Edmark has been a pioneer in developing innovative and effective educational materials for children for more than 25 years, applying proven educational concepts to the development of educational products for children.
