steve,

I saw that .22 cent number as well.

It was from whispernumber.com, but I've gone back to find the newswire and cannot find it again??? strange....but I know that was the number because I wrote it down on my calendar as well as all the other stocks they listed that I owned.

At the time, I thought it was odd <.22> because most of the rest were right in line with first call and then this outlandish # for PMCS. It must have been a misprint>>>can you locate the newswire???

More interestingly, I went to the actual website and it lists the whisper number as .18 cents not the .22 cents in the press release.

I hate this "whisper crap.."it is totally fruitless and increasingly confusing for the investor.

SJS...who in the hell comes up with these whipser numbers anyway? And why can't we get rid of them? Everyone is in agreement they are destroying great earnings reports...I'm so over it. You'd think by now, the investing community would have learned to ignore them...but it's more the herd mentality and panic-o-rama...Best, PoetTrader

Yes, I saw that, I think you posted it on another board (brcm?). It is typical of the insanity occurring right now and not a thing individual stock holders can do about it. Most of my money is concentrated in 6 stocks(pmcs, brcm, jdsu, sdli, ntap, scmr) and I've gone from about 60% up this year to even and as far as I can tell there's no real reason for it to have gone down so until proven otherwise I will assume it will go back up for equally unknown reasons.
