I actually feel (a little) sorry for the "buy on the dips" mentality. Whoever bought on the dip after YHOO announced earnings last week, using the ANALysts excited rantings as justification, lost 1/6 of their investment. If they used margin, they lost 1/3 of their investment IN ONE WEEK.

Margin calls again tomorrow in NAZland. The cycle is feeding on itself.

BigBull, your logic about getting off margin is sound, especially if you are in any high PE issues, but we are in the sector where fund money is going. We are "old economy", got earnings coming out the wazoo, and the forward fundamentals are phenomenal. I have been through bear markets but at this time am not concerned about the stocks I am in.
