Value Line report says T shareholders will recieve distribution (roughly 80%) of the new shares by Fall. But the new shares will be issued in the Spring. Why so long? Will there be an ex-distribution date. Anyone know exactly how that works?

<... TDMA, GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, AMPS, analog, digital, 1X, 1XRTT, DS, MC, GPRS, EDGE, 3X, 2G, 2.5G, 3G, bands, dual-band, modes, dual-mode, tri-mode, etc, etc, the list is endless > Hey, what about cdma2000 and good old IS-95, IS-95B, HDR, VW40, SETI, UMTS ... as you say, the list goes on?

Meanwhile, the spectrum auction in the UK shows the value of spectrum in 3G and service providers will NOT be able to waste it by blocking it with TDMA signals. WWeb access will need to be very cheap and available very soon. Companies won't be able to wait for half a decade for full-blown W-CDMA to come trundling down the pike.

TDMA is toast.
