Im taking a stab here....but i believe the name change does represent a paradigm change. Puff Daddy was the go-go, mo-mo, ride em' cowboy Bull market persona. His changing names does signify a change of personality. Stock Operator represents a true speculator,(i think he has adapted his namesakes trading personality) any movement will be traded, but Livermore made his killings more so as a short than a Bull. He was often contrarian, to others dismay. He felt there was always plenty to be made on the way down. People hated him and tried to bust his Short positions many times. Yes, he got busted a few times but he retired famous and wealthy as hell. If Puff did lose alot (per the unsubstantiated speculation) it appears he has picked a good choice as his model for recovery. The times of Livermore and today have a lot of parallels so perhaps he is prescient here. Just my two...

He is acting like a child. I get the impression he is full of baloney about all these job offers he talks about. I suspect he is much younger thaqn you think and doesn't know 1/3 of the stuff he would like to have you think he knows.

Sorry, but I just don't buy any of it. Funny thing is, he is giving Jason a hard time about his picks (of course, some were just trades as we all know) but everything I remember him promoting and pumping 2 months ago is deep in the crapper too. I mean come on....

I just think Puff at a "big 3 trading desk" doing anything but menial labor is about as likely as me being Peter Lynch. He's bearish, but he's not shorting? I think he got blown out on margin. Why did he have to start insulting everyone? Who the hell runs around calling everyone "little boy"? I'm 6'2...200 lbs.
