It will be an amazing quarter if PMCS beats the consensus by more than a penny or so! They made a number of acquisitions in the quarter and the upside will be "eaten" by the 1x charges, no surprise to anyone long term.

In a market like this, all it takes is a comment by morgan (perfectly valid and mentioned by several houses already) to limit expectations of eps upside due to acquisitions and spin that into the company had trouble meeting numbers to create selling pressure.

But is it really rational to expect a stock to go straight up and appreciate that much faster than its growth rate?

This sell off is STARTING to clear out reckless speculation by people that don't know what they own or don't pay one second's worth of attention to valuation.

My prediction is that the tech market will have a powerful rebound, dramatic sell off or trade sideways over the next 30 days.

you heard it here first.

I could not agree more. <<total insanity>>

I still think it is odd that the press release has disappeared...gone>>>I reviewed the newswires under every chip company I own and it is simply not there???

AND the fact remains the website <http://whispernumber.com> where the press release originated from lists the whisper # as 18 cents>>>NOT the.22 cents which they reported.

FWIW, Zacks had a range of 15 to 17 which in my mind is reflective of a super quarter. Hope reason prevails...
