RM... what you say about the houses is true. However, I am of the mind that the houses are just part of a larger macro type picture, the pawns, if you will, in a more global, more carefully orchestrated scenario, which is tightening money supply, and the truly powerful movers and shakers in the world of big money. Needless to say, the houses are the willing accomplice of whatever circumstance generates account activity.

This said, I stick by a general philosophy about the markets.
Markets behave on emotion. Selling gets overdone in the same way as buying gets overdone. The market was overbought, and now the market is oversold. Plain and simple. It will come back. I think people will be more prudent about the stocks they buy. Tech still rocks. I think it'll just rock more slowly, and stocks won't double their market value in a week - but I don't think the sky is falling.

FWIW,
Donna
