John,

I was refering to AMD having a few hundred thousand chips in inventory at the end of the quarter. That is typical...except for the 2 million they had one quarter last year...which was not good to say the least.

Jim

Dear John: Well, my congrats to the AMD crowd, Lord knows they deserve it, its been a long dry spell for them. However, I think the KEY to INTC stock price success as well as AMD in the long run is not the Microprocessors for computers but the other chips, particularly the chips utilized in the telecom industry which shows NO sign of slowing, in fact increasing. I am hopeful that INTC will show major gains in that area when they report. JDN
