OT Coms

Do you think they have reached the bottom or will they go down to the 30s?

Would appreciate your opinion. Thank you.

Mehrdad,

Based on some of your answers to your questions, it is quite clear that you still are in denial of what wrongs clearly MSFT has performed in the industry over all these years.
This is unfortunate for yourself and it also explains why you have decided to buy into MSFT when they are in deep doggy doodoo. And if you think that MSFT is just experiencing a bad but short-lived correction - you will be happy to know that you will be able to pick up even cheaper deals for quite some time.

MSFT is clearly not out of the woods for a long while to come. Expect MSFT to linger and sag as a stock for the next 1+ years. MSFT Execs still have too big an ego to settle and they will drag this out for as long as they can. This keeps instability high for this stock. The Lawyers of all those companies and consumers groups that feel they have been wronged by MSFT will be showing up more and more each day. This all has already been distracting MSFT BIG TIME. And all this does not even mention the issue that MSFT old Business Model which is based on developing around a proprietary OS platform is starting to hurt them. As well as the fact that a lot of MSFT previous years of ill-begotten revenue from the anti-trust violations is being removed from their revenue streams.

I could go on much much further on MSFT's "Wolves" as I have coined this phrase on this board for the past 2 years, but you get a hint of the porblems MSFT will be facing.

Do yourself a favour and pull your emotions out of your analysis of MSFT. Either you are a MSFT employee, a large holder of MSFT stock that needs to see this stock rise, or a poor MSFT Lemming that simply cannot accept that MSFT could actually do wrong. I am not sure what it might be.

But make no mistake about it, MSFT did break several Anti-trust regulations. No matter if you want to blame the ruling on political conspiracy or stupidity or whatever excuse you could think of. It was clearly obvious throughout the computer industry for years they were abusing the special status as a Monopoly.

Also, SOME of these companies may perform similar actions BUT, ask yourself, are they considered a clear monopoly in some product/service? Are or have some of these large companies already been investigated for FTC/anti-trust actions?

MSFT a 5-star general??? Come on!! That made me laugh!

But - Good Luck to you in your MSFT investments. Consider them a long-term investment. :)
