I agree. Anything even remotely normal would call for a pause. Maybe a down opening and then a recovery tomorrow. Next week could follow through with a few days of shoulder building. Then back to the business at hand.

Although it would be out of character, it's not out of the realm of possibility, for a (ouch) further plunge. It does seem possible that the psychology of those who drove it up so radically is up to the task of driving it down ; thereby breaking all the rules.

Didn't we just have a day never before seen in history, 13% down and back up to nearly flat? I would give them room to perform the unlikely, impossible even.
