You are wrong in your accusations. I asked IR at Cablelabs, and they sent me to the cablemodem site, saying they will not comment other than the letter and the protocol document. So, that's from Cablelabs, not TERN.

Having compared both the Pluvia-supplied letter, as well as the GeoCities follow-up,
it is my quasi-qualified (no relation to Krispy Kreme) subjective opinion that:

1. They were written by the same person
2. There are other missing pieces.

and most importantly, the entire issue of CableLabs approved syntax in press releases is waaaaay overbaked as an issue for equity valuation and (go even further out on a limb here) IMMATERIAL to issues relating to insider trading.

Having the letter validated by RG is a good idea, the truth is out there somewhere !
