Zaki isn't supposed to release correspondence to the public without permission and neither is Cablelabs. Kinda like Clinton with Kathleen Wiley. I suggest you try the Cablemodem.com site as suggested in the letter. The letter on GEOcities is wholly consistent with Zaki's statements, i.e. and hence, Zaki didn't avoid the question, and I'd be willing to bet it's quite real.
