I just returned from my meeting and wanted to add more to my post. A few of barrys quotes today:

1) Schwabb and E-Trade have done a great job taking trading from riding a bicycle to riding a Chevy. What myTrack has done is take trading to the 2nd generation (2-way interface program). In effect going from a Chevy to a BMW.

2)The trend today is toward MORE online consolidation such as TRAC/USAB/DCAI/ianalyst/etc. Brokerages will be able to increase earnings by offering mutual funds, banking services and financial planning. TRAC has recently made investments in each of these areas. Specifcally, ianalyst should be VERY succesful....allowing people to get advice on specific stocks (hosts are currently NOT allowed to do this).

3)TRAC data is a case study in how to grow an OLB...we made the transition from a market data provider to an OLB. Our market data service is currently being used (for a fee) by all of the exchanges, Goldman-Sachs,Morgan-Stanley etc. TRAC customers are on an equal footing with the BIG boys!

4)TRAC grew faster than etrade during the first 10months of operation.

5)Tell Track: Barry personally reviews all tell track suggestions, usually 20-30 a day. Many of these suggestions are actually implemented in the upgraded versions of myTrack. Barry finds this feature very useful and helpful.

I'm sure barry would like to have said more about future events. We'll just have to wait for the PRs. Idon't think we'll be disappointed!
