Yes. We've seen a TON of untrustworthy behavior in this mania. Have you ever read Kindleberger's book, "Manias, Panics and Crashes"? I find it fascinating right now, it's my textbook to the BK. One passage that seems particularly relevant (pg 7):

"It seems clear from the historical record that swindles are a response to the greedy appetite for wealth stimulated by the boom. And as the monetary system gets stretched, institutions lose liquidity, and unsuccessful swindles are about to be revealed, the temptation to take the money and run becomes virtually irresistible."

In other words, as Fleck says: "It's a Bill Clinton world"!
