heinz,

CNBS has been telling us all week where the next support level is for the NASD and we have gone through all of those so far. <g> BTD, has been active at these levels, but these folk give up rather rapidly. It is interesting to say the least.

Joan

I think if BubbleBoy halted the expansion late last year (or even up to New Year's), we may've had a shot at a recoverable LLCF. At this point, I fear, we are doomed. The question I have is what is the appropriate bailout strategy for us, the casualties-in-waiting? Seems like it will depend on what the govt's reaction will be to the LLCF. If we get more monetary expansion, the sequelae will be inflation, rising commodity (gold) prices and so forth (even though the expansion would likely fail as consumers and investors suffer a crisis of confidence). If he does nothing or contracts, we would probably be plunged into immediate deflation and spillover to the other bubbles (especially real estate). It makes guessing the proper prepation measures quite a chore, no?
