Same here. BTW, I know I've mentioned this over the past few days, but most if not all technical indicators still look bad. OBV still trending down, Fast MA is not reversing. Candlesticks... good grief... we can coin this one "kamikaze".

There will be earnings pops but they may serve as better uptick opportunities. Many NYSE stocks are cranking forward, for example, CLX, HMA, ABT, PG (PG-huge buying today). I should note that this is where the brokers on the NYSE add value for their clients, as you'll notice many stocks slowly edge up over the day and avoid rush/spike indicators. For those still sticking with techs, I'd be very selective unless you're scalping, i.e. an ice-cold day trader.

AMD. Great insight on holding overnight, Jenna. Worst looking technical chart I could imagine - you were right about TA being no good on earnings day. But there must be another way to know... Got to be more to it than AMD was very oversold. I'm still working on figuring it out.

Jenna, Can't blame you for that reaction with AMD. the markets especially the Nas is really sloppy. I've set stops and have been taken out of some of my favorite LT and Intermediate holds. This is definitely a scalpers market, until things settle down and a bottom is confirmed. Sure puts a wet blanket over what could have been an exciting earnings period for Gemmers. N.C.

Individual Investor Magazine, May 2000 Issue
In an article on page 67, called "Sweet Spot", there is a list of ten companies listed as America's fastest growing companies. In order of REVENUE GROWTH they are: ATMI, HLIT, GNET, EMLX, PWAV, PWER, AMAT, KLAC, NOVN, CACS.

All our favorites, so many of them found by Jenna as babies, they should be be some of the ones that will rise from the ashes. I miss my HLIT!!
