Vodafone

VOD looked sweet today as well

Indeed. Vodafone looks cheap. I won't dwell on Vodafone here see the Vodafone thread but I own 100 of the Jan 01 55 calls and 50 of the Jan 02 55 calls as well as being long the stock. As M Lynch stated today the equity is underowned and there may be a powerful move up.

AMD CC Note: "A: Flash, we need to increase capacity. Expect to have a decision by end of Q2 about building a third Megafab at Isu Wakamatsu (?) as part of a joint venture with Fujitsu. Would start out with 8" wafers but would be 12" capable. Opportunity to double our bits reflects increasing capacity. Even with that, we're probably losing market share. Business is explosive. Expected more than 400 million cell phones built in the current year. Demand for bits is growing much faster than unit phone growth. Spending on capital for expansion for Flash in our joint venture
approximately the same as Intel's announced spending [for Flash]. -- Q: Does the $800 million cap ex include the cap ex of the joint venture? -- A: No. --
Q: Is the joint venture self funding? -- A: Yes."

PC Growth: "A: We see the PC market as strong and getting stronger. Seeing up unit demand for Q2. Intel
seems to be having some difficulty supplying demand at the high end, so we don't think that price is an issue, actually."
