hi david,

re "I ran a file check and have a Himem.sys file folder"

does this mean you ran system file checker? clickstream

start|programs|accessories|system tools|system information|tools|system file checker

also other tools there? like the driver tool?

that seems like a great place to start, unless you're saying you've been there done that.

:)

HIMEM.SYS ...

Open a DOS window, type "mem /c | more", and look for HIMEM. It'll be near the top of the screen if it's there.

Cheers, PW.
